Math Kangaroo Contest — March 19, 2020
Piedmont students in grades 1 through 12 may register to participate in the international Math Kangaroo Competition, to be held after school on Thursday, March 19, at Piedmont Middle School. It’s a gentle and fun introductory math competition, with gifts for all, plus extra recognition and prizes for state and nationwide top scorers.  Each student who sits for the 75-minute multiple choice test receives a T-shirt and a certificate of participation. Financial assistance and/or IEP accommodations are available.

Regular registration costs $21 per student and is open until December 15th. To register, go to https://mathkangaroo.oasis-lms.com/Public/Catalog/Home.aspx and click on the “Login” button to create an account. Ours is an unlisted, private center, so you must be logged in and then click on the tab that reads “By Invitation” to find it, and use the private center code PIEDMONT94611@20MK to enroll. Further details are provided in this writeup. Please take a look, sign up your child, and encourage others to participate.
